WHAT OUR PATIENTS SAY...

I wanted to let you know how overjoyed and amazed I am with the results of my LASIK Surgery, performed on Monday July 14th. 2003.  The entire experience was exceptional, form the initial consultation to the post-operative phase.

Like many people, I had heard a great deal about the positive results of LASIK from many of my friends and co-workers.  However, I was reluctant to undergo the procedure myself, even though I despised wearing glasses and was unable to wear contact lenses.  After several of the physicians I work with told me of their positive experiences with Dr. Khouri and the LASIK procedure, I decided to schedule an appointment to meet with him.

His office staff is exceedingly pleasant and accommodating.  Dr. Khouri is meticulous, precise and thorough. He explained everything to me, in vivid detail, so that I would know exactly what to expect before, during and after the procedure.  Every step of the process is carefully orchestrated.  I was shown several videos and had extensive visual testing with advanced technological equipment.  I firmly believe that it is his attention to every minute detail that yields such successful results.  (Coupled with his sill as a physician, of course).

The facility where he performs the LASIK procedure was comfortable and soothing.  Not at all like the "Assembly Line" Surgi-Centers where you take a number and wait in an endless line.  I was greeted immediately and taken into the surgical suite even before my scheduled time.  The nurse who cared for me, Paula Darling, was incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable.  I felt as if I was in the best of hands with Paula and Dr. Khouri.  Together, they alleviated any anxieties I may have had.  And, the procedure itself was quick and painless.  My son observed the procedure on a TV Screen; and even he thought it was amazing...which is saying a lot --coming from a teenager.

I am know able to see 20/15  on the Snellen Eye Chart ... Without Glasses !!  I still can't believe it myself.  It is truly a Miracle in my life.  The only regret I have now is not going to see Dr. Khouri SOONER !!  I would highly recommend Dr. Khouri, and the LASIK procedure, to everyone who is an appropriate candidate.

Dr. George Khouri corrected my inverted lids to my great satisfaction.  I had spasm in both lids and the eyelashes were irritating the surface of my eyes.  The procedure was comfortable and the recovery was swift.
